Dd 3 24 by now I have forgotten all the things I'm about to complain about to the Geek Squad who have rebooked their visit to Thursday----to be honest there's an awful lot of this machine that's still with stuff they should be deleted like when I'm writing something I make a backup copy and then a backup of a backup and a back back backup and I finally get it to the way I want it I label it with GUD instead of backup so that awful lot of things in on here that would make a lot of space on the machine which I think is one of my problems
actually I have a lot of problems sticking keys is another but that kind of thing is not a geek problem there the the part that I'm hoping they will do is if I clear up enough space they'll do the that word update I I avoid that I haven't done that so my machine has not been updated since I bought it probably 12 years ago or something so so there's a lot that's my fault however on we go....
I have to stay here at work today because Elizabeth is taking larkey in my car which doesn't give me a lot to work with somewhere along the line I need to get a handicapped sticker again and I figure if I go to the motor vehicle Bureau with larkey and a handful of business cards I'll get a lot of work done just sitting ..
Last night at Malcolm I got going on the things retired folk can do like retired like me and the only two things I could remember at the moment were driving around the parked school buses and seeing if any of the drivers have bothered to walk all the way to the back and put up the little sign that says this bus is empty and I'm happy to report the top field had absolutely none of those last time I checked on topsfield it seems to me they had two or three people that put up the empty signs but the rest did not and there's no reason they don't do it it's one of those things that it's not critical until it's critical there are instances of children being locked in school buses and then because Bella is the expert of this one when you're in an elevator there is supposed to be an inspection sticker and they're used to be as inspector sticker most of the places at eye level and then I started noticing them particularly at Leahy hospital outdated
by a year and the reason Bella is an expert on this is that she and George got trapped in an elevator between the floors in her school bringing up two questions about where was her attendant which she was supposed to have with her all the time and the inspection sticker was a year outdated so now they they put the inspection sticker uh knee high so hopefully people don't look at it but all of all of us with nothing better to do in an elevator just look at that sticker and see if it's outdated because many times it is...
And I had a third project which unfortunately I can't remember but I'll work on it in the meantime would everybody please think of the things that take no effort on our part as retired folk they're really kind of bringing a lot of other systems up to par
