Dd 2 1 maybe?? Details. I forget....
10 or sO years ago ( you folk love old stories)we had a pipe blocked to the septic system... frozen 4” pipe.. we ( and a plumber) could not get it free with all sorTs of wires and chemicals... but the plumber did determine e block was just outside the side door...now 100 yearsw ago when we had the house fire in lynnfield, I lost the water supply. And had ?14 horses in the barn--- the town did hook up a long hose off the street- it worked – once—but no wa y could I drain that hose twice a day... but I did havea huge manure pile- steaqming away.. so I covered that entire hose for 100 feet from street to the barn--- and bless that manure.. it-- HMMMMMM kept the hose from freezing for the next 2 months...
Back to current problem..for the past 9 years I have covered that. Pipe every fall- one scoop with the tractor bucket—and had no problem—til this year—when I am not driving the tractor ( either) so I forgot to teach eliz in manure maqnagement. So we have resorted to a greenhouse heater—and a wheelbarrow of good horse puckies.. – I don’t know which worked but we are unstuck- personally I think I was the horse manure.
Janine called yesterday—she has developed a very limitedround of day care nursing homes—snf has foune a lovely dane which she can borrow to go entertain with wanda and the chickens she took from here -- people are thrilled- all these places have the mandated activities director. But no budget for them—playing bingo goes just so far... all I have ever seen these activities director do is take one person after the other to the bathroom. The whole topic still need some intensive study ( and funding)
Thanks to all of you with the huppies we are managing—but it needs a real ‘LOOK AT’ ----NEARLY ALL ( I DON’T KNOW ONE PLACE WITHOUT IT ) HAVE ONE OF THOSE SHORTENED BUSSES—SITTING QUIETLY IN THIRE PARKING LOT- NO BUDGET FOR DRIVER OR GAS !
HMMMMM. – IS THAT A SOURCE OF LOW MILEAGE VEHICLES..- LIKE FIRE ENGINES????
