Dd 1 19 Janine should read this one. I got up early and tried to make myself a cup of coffee with the Keurig and being a good citizen I had bought the stainless steel little cup things and a pound of Starbucks decaf so I shouldn't have to use those things that end up in the trash or whatever but my Keurig did not like that new cup cup of coffee thing even when I got my glasses there did not seem to be a way around it but I really wanted a cup of coffee preferably decaf at that hour and I remember now that I had cleaned the place up and had put things away on shelves I could get at the coffee percolator thing so I percolated myself a cup of coffee which was really very nice... And while it was perking my eye fell on the a funny little egg cooker thing by dash.. The reason I'd stopped using it was I'd lost the directions but seeing as I had more eggs than I had directions I figured I'd try it first problem was I needed a pinhole in the big end of the eggs there was number pin in this whole apartment but a paper clip did the trick that made a nice tiny little hole in the fat end of the egg so I put five eggs in this container little bit of water plugged it in and push the button I don't think it was very long before the light went out apparently meaning the eggs were done it didn't seem like that was fast enough so I checked the vent hole to see that there was some heat coming out of that entire at least so I burned my finger and got a spoon and started taking the egg out and peeling them I had no trouble peeling three eggs and it's the mayonnaise and some BBQ sauce and enjoy breakfast gave the rest to the dog apparently you could do eggs.
Someone has sent me a collection of Mason jars.. So I went out on Amazon and found that a whole bunch of Mason jar lids that could be very useful so I'm gonna try that now and see what happens but--- from hand cream the olive oil I think I could use these Mason jars judiciously..
My kitchen modernization project is coming along but as usual my eye is on the function.. You could make squirt bottles out of Mason jars so I'm on it.
Didn't do very much because of my wry neck. Very aware that inactivity Is detrimental to my overall health so I must get up and out more today..
Also looking out the window I could see a flashing light over in the white tent so when Ben came in to say goodbye I asked if he was out there welding and he was I never learned to well and I was always sorry I hadn't so I've I've asked him if he wouldn't consider giving me a lesson and welding as soon as I can get over to the welding place.
