12 9 I don’t have any exciting news-----This business of now being a person who has fallen there's no fun. I didn't know why every time nurses were here they just very casually said have you fallen which was sort of have you fallen yet and I hadn't so I had no problem but now I have fallen and I'm a nervous wreck well I'm not really a nervous wreck but it it has changed the picture tremendously. I'm totally used to falling I've done it for years so it's no big deal you just get up and go on it never occurred to me it wouldn't be a problem but two days ago or whatever I went to step on my right leg and it just plain wasn't there and it took me considerable effort to figure out how to get back on my feet which I did do.. And I didn't notice articles on the Internet about how to get up after you have fallen and I never paid attention but I do now I mean it it's much more of a project than I had in mind and on top of everything else the Internet has now given me 10 exercises to do every day none of them are very compelling try standing against the wall and then raising your toes and then heels things like that there are a lot of how to the most significant 1 I actually had considered before my big fall was swinging your arms with the opposite foot I noticed long ago that that helped me walk in general but I seriously consider having the Walker or something with me when I go anywhere that's very annoying.
It's very cold outside. So I have devised a lot of indoor things to do paperwork being one of them but I've also watched a bit of the Amish cooking and I'm really impressed with the fact that the whole Amish way of life turns out a teenager whose capable of worrying about soil conditions and growing vegetables and canning vegetables or preserving them somehow and doing great large things like building houses or barns and then I had a great long discussion with Elizabeth and Michelle trying to find a teenager who would help with the barn work around here and there is no such thing people do not want to work. Somehow when I was a kid there was always somebody who won to make a few dollars delivering newspapers or something we're minus that element in our society now... We ran Through a list of chores that it would be nice to find some neighborhood kid to come stuff hay bags or something to make our life a little easier and there is no such thing.
Janine is still in Aiken I don't know when she's coming back so Elizabeth has her hands full... And I'm just hoping she stays good and healthy..one thing i have noticed--- if i have a nice cuppa coffee mid afternoon, it makes me drop off in slwumber-- and the coffee lands in my lap. 3 times now.... dammmmmmit
