This  group living is not all bad--- in the past 24 hours I needed a washer fix—nick needed a toilet plunger—the goats got loose – I ran out of paper tpwels-michelle had some extra food to share—the internet went down--- and back up.. and they delivered the parts to hook up the pellet stove. That is the last (actually 6) HOURS

 

Apparently these hEaters that we have stop working when it gets down into the single digits but as nick points out they are decreasingly efficient on the way so that the apartments been slightly chilly I'm doing fine because I've got electric blankets and the dogs have plenty of fluffies but it is cold I've now put an electric heater in the bathroom because I really must take a shower – and if I can find the scissors, I will cause my hair to be shortened.

 

Apparettly gwen is due to be here today- and I am told she has had her hair cut for  $250- so if my hair looks chewed up... figure I am $250 to the good.

 

THE AFTER HOSPITAL VISITS ARE SO CONVOLUTED THAT I CAN NOT KEEP IT STRAIGHT. AND COUNT ON JUDY TO DO THAT—BUT SHE IS NOT HERE-SO I WILL STAY CONFUSED.

 

MEDICARE HAS DEFINITE RULES – AND IF YOU DO IT WRONG- THEY DON’T PAY FOR IT—LIKE MONDAY- I WENT TO THE4 DR- ASI WAS TOLD TO DO—BUT  That meant they wouldn't PAY for a home visit with a nurse on that day.. I do know there is some provision for paying caretakers and Lord knows I have several they could stand to be paid by the state instead of me but to try and unravel that is very difficult that's why I get stuck and unable to get a daily doggie out on time and things like that..  I bit the bullet on Friday and ordered a bunch of stuff from Amazon because there was no way I was going to be able to find it By shopping. Which was confused moreover by all the Christmas shoppers running around to spend their money quickly

 

NOW. LET ME TALK ABOUT HOSPITAL BLANKETS—THEY ARE HEAVY  WASHABLE/BLEACHABLE COTTON—AND CAN BE HEATED IN THE MICROWAVE—lovely !!! 

 

I VERY cAREFULLY CUT OFF THE LABEL TO LOOK INTO THEM. NOW IF I COULD JUST FIND THAt label....

 

Apparently this week the Ipswich home for the aged no that's not what it's called elder care office whatever they are coming out to visit me basically look me over and see what they can help me do this woughort to be a very interesting visit.
