11 21 My sizzle report it's a good one her blood work came back fine still not sure why she stopped eating she's eating fine now there's also a small chance that lucky or Willow were very rough with her and knocked her over she was hurting all over I don't know at any rate she's behaving normally and doing fine about $500 later umm it was interesting to note that when we tried to make an appointment for her to be seen for this possible to be diabetes that  As a new patient to this veterinary clinic they wanted her medical record said to them so we dug around and found out that she has no medical record nothing has been wrong with her she was spayed many years ago and that was her last contact with the veterinarian other than to get her rabies shot on time the new vet could barely believe it neither could I and they now do blood study in house alarm sold to them I believe by idex where they can give you the results of the blood study in about 20 minutes half an hour and $500 however we did it and she came out fine/

 

I am struggling with a list of things I must do before winter gets here and then I look at the thermometer on my door and it says 30 that means that water is not fluid around here anymore water becomes solid Only in the case of our ponds not quite solid but enough to fall through so one of our biggest jobs right at the moment is to get the gates locked shut--I did put a fence around the pond but somehow the goats have poked a hole or two in it and the dogs can get through so we've got a do something about that immediately if not sooner.

 

Because Gwen is about to arrive- I decided I better get at least slightly organized because jeanine tells me that she is got that Gwen is supposed to get my taxes all done I am way behind on the paperwork end of it I have been sending money in but even now they're chasing me for the paperwork/

 

Last night at mail call I mentioned the fact that we somehow may have screwed up on delivering prizes to shade upon winners so if you expected a prize and haven't gotten it please let me know... I feel terrible that we were LAX in that because we are totally dependent on you people to keep us going straight and straight we are going because the last job we did at hunt the other day I went in with Judy as sort of act one and then Janine pulls in with with her trailer and miscellaneous animals and she had a brand new antique pram beautiful looking and on top of the hood that are two white hens that do the shadow upon board and she walked she carried them around and introduce them to everyone and one person wanted to hold the hen so she sat there for the next half hour with a hand on her lap absolutely delighted it was really quite a scene well Janine walked around with the other hen ,  The dogs are very good about these hens but I think their discipline might break down if the hens started flapping their wings so I did keep Willow on a leash and I watched larkey and sizzle very carefully it's funny that the hens are so popular and and that the Turkey is popular but Janine has them well under control and everyone is enjoying them. She did have the black pony with her also but she kind of comes in as act 2 after we've been there for a while. Janine is working to have the hat black pony be very good at frying pans and cookies because I think she's going to take the black pony down to South Carolina along with a couple other animals and eventually her riding horses She fully intends to keep visiting places down there because there are as many people down there who need to have a chicken on their lap as there are up here
